Chris Burrow

Chris Burrow was born on November 15, 1945, in Wynne, Arkansas. After graduating from the University of Arkansas in 1968, Burrow became active in Democratic Party politics in the state and became a close associate of Bill Clinton after meeting him in 1974. After Clinton was elected governor in 1978, Burrow served as his legislative liaison across his first term in office, and again after he was re-elected in 1982. Governor Clinton appointed him Director of State Building Services in 1986, and he served in that role until 1997. After his time in state government, Burrow served as Vice President of Construction for the University of Arkansas System from 1997-2001. He has also worked with the William Jefferson Clinton Foundation.
