Nate Coulter

Nate Coulter was born in Nashville, Arkansas, in 1959. After graduating from Harvard Law School, Coulter returned to Little Rock, Arkansas, where he worked for the Wright, Lindsey, & Jennings law firm and clerked for Federal Judge Tom Eisele. While working for the Wright firm, Coulter served as assistant legal counsel to Governor Clinton from 1988-1992 and worked as campaign director for Senator Dale Bumpers’ re-election campaign in 1992. In 1993, Coulter ran for lieutenant governor as a Democrat and lost in a close election to Mike Huckabee. Since 2016, he has served as the Executive Director of the Central Arkansas Library System.
