Amy Helm was born in Woodstock, New York, on December 3, 1970. The daughter of Levon Helm and singer Libby Titus, she grew up between New York City and Los Angeles. During her time in New York she studied jazz music and began singing in local bands. In 1999, she joined her father’s band, The Barn Burners, and in 2001 co-founded Ollabelle, an alt-country band. Helm later helped start her father’s “Midnight Ramble” concert series in Woodstock and toured with the Levon Helm Band. In 2015, Helm released her first solo album, Didn’t It Rain. Her second album, This Too Shall Light was released in 2018. She resides in Woodstock, New York.
