Going to the polls may feel like a lost cause. You know it’s important, but you’re not sure if it’s even worth it. Maybe you’ve even asked yourself, “Does my vote matter?”
KUAF Public Radio, Ozarks at Large, and the David and Barbara Pryor Center for Arkansas Oral and Visual History in the Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences partnered together to host “Does My Vote Matter?”, a live recording of the podcast Natural Election at 6 p.m. on Sept. 27, 2022.
Host Matthew Moore moderated a panel discussion with Janine Parry, university professor in the Department of Political Science and director of Arkansas Poll, and Jennifer Price, executive director of the Washington County Election Commission, to discuss how local elections have been won by the slimmest of margins and what impact local leaders can have on your daily life, as well as voter turnout, election security, and much more.
