The sixth annual King Biscuit Blues Festival's “Call and Response, The Blues Symposium” was held October 7, 2016, in Helena, Arkansas. Blues lovers from all over the world gathered at the Malco Theater on Cherry Street to listen to two panels of renowned blues musicians discuss their music. The Blues Symposium – Part 1 was moderated by Roger Stolle, owner of Cat Head Delta Blues & Folk Art, Inc. in Clarksdale, Mississippi. The panel included Robert Lee “Lil Poochie” Watson, Hezekiah Early, Sean “Bad” Apple, and Mark “Muleman” Massey.
