Scipio Africanus Jones: Both Intelligent and Wise is a children’s book by Patricia Kienzle about Scipio Jones. Although born into slavery, Jones was able to obtain an education and eventually practiced law in Little Rock. Jones most famous case was his defense of twelve men convicted of murder after the Elaine Massacre in 1919. Candace Dolls of Helena-West Helena drew the illustrations.
