Julius "Jules" Reiner Feinberg was born December 25, 1921, in Kerhonkson, New York.
Feinberg received his pilot’s license from the University of Minnesota before being drafted into the US Army where he served for over three years during World War II. He went on to earn a B.S. in mechanical engineering from Northeastern University.
Feinberg travelled to Germany as a merchant marine on board the E. B. Alexander after college. He taught diesel engine mechanics at the Newark Diesel Institute and worked as an engineer for Kerr-McGee Corporation. In 1951 Feinberg moved to El Dorado, Arkansas, to sell engines and irrigation pumps and eventually started his own business, the Pumps and Power Company.
Feinberg passed away September 10, 2010.
