Grace Heiskell Terry

Grace Netherland Heiskell Terry was born February 2, 1923, in Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas.

Grace attended high school at Miss Master’s School in Dobbs Ferry, New York, and then went to Katherine Gibbs College in Boston. When she returned to Arkansas, she worked as a secretary for her uncle, John Netherland "Ned" Heiskell, the editor in chief of the Arkansas Gazette.

Grace married Walter Terry, and they moved to New Jersey. He later became the vice president of Morgan Guaranty Trust Company. Grace has two children, two grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
